Staff Noticeboard

The Staff Noticeboard addon module lets you post notices for your staff to read on a digital noticeboard.

WHMCS includes this addon module by default.

Activation

Because this addon module ships with WHMCS by default, you only need to activate it through the Admin Area.

To do this:

  1. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Addon Modules.
  2. Click Activate for Staff Noticeboard.
  3. Click Configure.
  4. Select the admin role groups that will have permissions for this addon module:
    • For Edit/Delete Permissions, select the role groups that can edit and delete notices.
    • For Access Control, select the role groups that can access this addon module to view notices.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Using this Addon Module

You can access and use this addon module by going to Addons > Staff Noticeboard.

Create a Note

To create a note:

  1. Click Add Note.
  2. Enter the contents of the note in the text box.
  3. Select a background color for the note in the Color menu.
  4. Click Add Note.

After you create a note, you can move it around the noticeboard by clicking and dragging the note with your cursor.

Manage Notes

To edit a note:

  1. Click Edit on the note that you would like to edit.
  2. Update the text and background color of the note.
  3. Click Add Note.

To delete a note:

  1. Click Delete on the note that you would like to delete.
  2. Click OK.
