Invalid cpmod Errors

Problem

When provisioning a new cPanel hosting account, the process fails with a Module Error:

Invalid value paper_lantern for the cpmod setting

Cause

The product configuration in WHMCS specifies a cPanel theme that does not exist on your cPanel server.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  1. In the WHMCS Admin Area, go to Configuration () > System Settings > Products/Services.
  2. Click Edit next to the product.
  3. Select the Module Settings tab.
  4. Click Switch to Advanced Mode.
  5. Set cPanel Theme to the current cPanel theme name or leave it blank to use the default theme.
  6. Click Save Changes.
