The PayPal Transaction Lookup addon module displays your PayPal merchant account balance on the Admin Dashboard and allows you to search PayPal transactions without logging in to PayPal.

Activation #

Because this addon module ships with WHMCS by default, you only need to activate it through the Admin Area.

To do this:

1. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Addon Modules.
2. Click Activate for PayPal Transaction Lookup.
3. Click Configure.
4. For API Username, API Password, and API Signature, enter your PayPal account’s credentials: 1. Log in to your PayPal account. 2. Go to Account Settings by hovering over your name in the top-right corner. 3. Click Update next to API Access. 4. Under NVP/SOAP API integration, click Manage API credentials. 5. Choose Request API signature. 6. Click Agree and Submit.
   You cannot use PayPal sandbox or test account credentials with this addon module. It requires a live PayPal account.
5. Select the admin role groups that will see account balances on the Admin Dashboard.
6. Select the admin role groups that will have access to search for PayPal transactions using this addon module.
7. Click Save Changes.

Advanced Search #

After you activate this addon module, the Advanced Search section will display the following additional options for searching PayPal transactions:

• Transaction ID
• Date Range
• Email
• Receipt ID
