Nova Cloud: Prompt First

This information only applies to self-hosted WHMCS installations. WHMCS Cloud does not currently support this module.

The Nova Cloud: Prompt First addon module enhances the landing page for MarketConnect’s Nova Cloud services with a functional AI prompt box. Instead of browsing plans first, visitors describe the website or web app they want to build, sign up, and go to Nova Cloud with their prompt already in place and ready to generate.

  • WHMCS does not include this addon module by default.
  • Before you activate this addon module, make certain to activate the Nova Cloud service provider in MarketConnect.
  • This addon module only alters the experience on landing pages that you added by activating Nova Cloud sales in MarketConnect. It does not alter the experience on landing pages that you added for use with the Nova Experience on cPanel provisioning module.

Activation

Before you can activate Nova Cloud: Prompt First, you must download it from the WHMCS Marketplace.

To do this:

  1. Download the latest version of the addon module.
  2. Extract the ZIP file.
  3. Upload the nova-cloud-prompt-first directory to the /modules/addons folder on your WHMCS installation.
  4. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Addon Modules.
  5. Click Activate for Nova Cloud: Prompt First.

The addon module alters the Nova Cloud landing page and Client Area service pages immediately.

The Prompt First Experience

Without this addon module, the Nova Cloud landing page is a standard MarketConnect storefront that includes plans, pricing, and a normal cart checkout.

When you activate this addon module:

  • The landing page’s prompt text box becomes functional. Visitors can start by describing their first project.
    • For unauthenticated visitors, submitting the prompt opens a short signup form that requests the customer’s name, email, password, and country. After signup, the visitor goes through single sign-on into Nova Cloud with their entered prompt ready to generate.
    • Authenticated customers skip the signup form and can start additional Nova Cloud projects directly from the prompt text box.
  • Each Nova Cloud service in the Client Area displays the option to sign in to Nova Cloud using single sign-on.
  • When customers click Upgrade to upgrade their Nova Cloud plans, they go directly to the upgrade configuration for the service instead of going to Services > My Services in the Client Area.
