Problem #

You see the following message while attempting to add a payment method in the client’s Summary tab:

You cannot add a payment method for this payment gateway through the Admin Area.

Cause #

This error occurs because the Stripe Dynamic Payments payment gateway module does not support adding payment methods through the Admin Area.

Solution #

Ask the client to add the payment method while checking out or paying the invoice in the Client Area.
