Unsupported Protocol Errors

Problem

While performing an action on a Plesk server using the Plesk server module, you see the following error:

This Plesk server does not support XML API protocol version '1.6.9.1'. Upgrade Plesk to 18.0 or later.

Cause

The Plesk module requires a version of Plesk that supports XML API protocol version 1.6.9.1.

Plesk has deprecated earlier protocol versions and plans to remove support for them.

Solution

Upgrade your Plesk server to Plesk Onyx 17.8 or later, or Plesk Obsidian 18.0 or later.
