VariLogiX FraudCall is an advanced telephone verification system that can call all new orders before the payment page to check their authenticity, thus reducing the likelihood of fraudulent payments and the resulting chargebacks.
It is advanced in comparison with the MaxMind equivalent. It can speak your company name, order details and total amount to confirm with your customer, they are then asked to enter a 4 digit number displayed on screen and record their voice (optional).
Depending on your price plan you can also add further announcements to the end of the call, or ask if they would like to connected to one of your telephone support operators if they have any questions.
The Varilogix control panel allows you to blacklist nuisance numbers and choose which numbers are called (international, mobile or VoIP). You can also whitelist customers so that they will not need to complete the verification call again on future orders.
To configure the FraudCall service navigate to Setup > Fraud Protection > Varilogix FraudCall. Tick the Enable checkbox and enter your Varilogix login details along with the Profile ID found in the Varilogix control panel.
If the client doesn't successfully complete the verification phone call the order will remain in "Fraud" status and the invoice will be "Cancelled".
