Customize Affiliate Links

When a visitor clicks on an affiliate’s link, the system redirect them to the URL that you specified for Domain in the General tab at Configuration () > System Settings > General Settings. You can customize this destination with your desired location.

Affiliate links can also link to specific products, the shopping cart, or the registration form. For more information, see Affiliate Links.

To do this:

  1. Go to the General tab at Configuration () > System Settings > General Settings.
  2. In Domain, enter the URL for the domain that hosts your WHMCS installation.
  3. Click Save Changes.

When someone clicks on an affiliate link, the system will redirect them to that URL.

Modifying the aff.php File

If you are familiar with writing PHP code, you can also customize affiliate link destinations by modifying the aff.php file.

The system overwrites customizations to the aff.php file during updates.
