With the GoDaddy Domain Reseller Module for WHMCS, you can leverage GoDaddy’s Wholesale Domain Reseller program with WHMCS for automated domain reselling to your customers.

Supported Features #

Activation #

To activate and begin using the GoDaddy registrar module, after installing the module:

1. Log in to your WHMCS Admin Area.
2. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Domain Registrars,
3. Locate GoDaddy in the list of available modules.
4. Click Activate.
5. Enter your GoDaddy API credentials.
   If you do not currently have API credentials, you can generate them by logging in to your GoDaddy Reseller Account. For help, contact GoDaddy at [email protected].
6. Click Save Changes.

Automatic Registration #

WHMCS allows you to set up automatic domain registration on a per-extension basis, enabling you to use different registrars for different TLDs.

Domain Sync #

This module supports automatic domain synchronization for syncing expiry dates and status changes for incoming transfers.

To use this, enable Domain Sync Enabled and configure the domain sync task at Configuration () > System Settings > Automation Settings.

New Registration/Transfer #

If you see this error for a new domain registration or transfer, the client’s profile data is missing required data. Review the Profile and Contacts tabs of the client’s profile to ensure that the fields in the error message (first name, last name, email address, address, city, state, country, phone number) are complete.

Managing Existing Domain #

If you see this message for an existing domain, the domain registration is through GoDaddy’s retail system. The WHMCS module can only manage domains that you registered through the GoDaddy API Reseller platform.
