Scheduled Actions for Support Tickets

WHMCS’s support system now makes it even easier to provide a high-quality experience to your customers while streamlining your business operations. The new Scheduled Actions tab allows you to schedule future actions for individual support tickets.

Use scheduled actions to follow up on tickets and automate time-sensitive responses. You can provide enhanced customer service by changing the ticket status, department, and other actions on a scheduled date or after a set amount of time.

Admin Invites

Each of your staff members should have their own admin account to log in to the WHMCS Admin Area. Some admins only need to view reports or reply to tickets for a single support department, while other admins have access to highly-sensitive data and configuration options.

To help keep your WHMCS installation secure and make staff onboarding even easier, WHMCS 8.12 introduces support for sending invitation links to new admins. Clicking the invitation link allows your staff member to set up their own login credentials, without the need for you to create those credentials in advance.

Adding a new admin in the Admin Area

To invite a new admin to start using WHMCS, go to Configuration () > Manage Admins. Choose Send Invite Link for Send Invite while configuring the new admin account.

The admin invitation email and initial login page

WHMCS will automatically send an invitation email with a link to create the new admin login credentials.
