Ahsay Backups

Ahsay Backups can perform backups for virtual machines, database servers, email servers, file servers, desktops, and notebooks. It is suitable for both larger service providers and smaller data systems. The WHMCS Ahsay Backups module automates these backups for your customers using the Ahsay API.

  • This module does not ship with WHMCS by default. Instead, you must purchase and install it (see below).
  • This module is only compatible with Ahsay 5.x. Ahsay 6.x’s API is not backwards compatible.

Adding the Module

To start using Ahsay Backups:

  1. Purchase and download Ahsay Backups.
  2. Upload the files to the /modules/servers/ahsaybackups directory on your WHMCS installation.
  3. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Servers.
  4. Create a new server.
    • Enter the IP address of your Ahsay server as the IP address.
    • Select Ahsaybackups as the module.
    • Enter your Ahsay username and password.
  5. Save your changes.

Creating an Ahsay Backups Product

To create a product using Ahsay Backups:

  1. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Products/Services.

  2. Click Create New Product.

  3. In the Module Settings tab, select Ahsaybackups as the module.

  4. Configure the desired Ahsay settings.

  5. Configure the rest of the product using the desired settings.

    By default, the module will use the client’s email address to log in to Ahsay. To customize the username, create a custom Username text field for the Ahsay product.
  6. Save your changes.
