Delete a Server
In some circumstances, you may need to delete a server that you previously added to WHMCS. To do this, you must first reassign the server’s hosting accounts and other services within WHMCS.
Delete a Server
To delete a server from WHMCS:
1. Find the hosting accounts and other services that are assigned to the server.
In the WHMCS Admin Area:
- Go to Clients > Products/Services.
- Choose the Search/Filter tab.
- Select the desired server for Server.
- Make certain that Hide Inactive Clients is Off above the list.
- Click Search.
The search results will list all of the hosting accounts and other services for the server.
2. Reassign all of the services in the list.
Edit each service and reassign it to a new server.
When you have reassigned each service, search for the server again at Clients > Products/Services and ensure that no items appear in the list.
3. Delete the server.
Go to the list of servers at Configuration () > Servers.
To reverify that the server no longer has any assigned services, check the WHMCS Usage Stats column in the list of servers. The server should display 0% usage in this column.
To delete the server, click the red delete icon in the list.
