Updating WHMCS

You can check for updates and apply them directly in the Admin Area using the automatic updater.

Legacy Module Removal

When you update WHMCS, the system will attempt to delete unused legacy modules. This helps to prevent problems due to older PHP code.

Security Advisory Notices

We sometimes release security updates to address important issues and vulnerabilities that could affect your WHMCS installation. We recommend downloading security updates as soon as possible.

Updating Through EOL Versions

If you have remained on a WHMCS version that is past its End of Life (EOL) date for multiple years, we recommend that you update WHMCS as soon as possible. Make sure that you meet the system requirements for each EOL version that you upgrade through to reach a modern, supported version.
