Login Details Errors


While attempting to log in to the Client Area as a user, you see the following error:

Login Details Incorrect. Please try again.


The most common cause of this error is that the URL that you are using to log in does not match the WHMCS System URL setting. For example, the protocol (http://) or subdomain (www.) does not match.

This often occurs when you install your first SSL certificate on your WHMCS installation, or after moving WHMCS to a new domain or directory.


To resolve this issue, make certain that the URL matches the WHMCS System URL setting in the General tab at Configuration () > System Settings > General Settings.
