Problem #

You see the following error while using GoDaddy for domain registrations or transfers:

Request body doesn't fulfill schema, see details in fields

Cause #

This error indicates that there is missing client data or the domain registration uses GoDaddy’s retail system instead of the GoDaddy API Reseller program.

Solution #

Review the Profile and Contacts tabs of the client’s profile to ensure that the fields in the error message (first name, last name, email address, address, city, state, country, phone number) are complete.

If you see this message for an existing domain, the domain registration is through GoDaddy’s retail system. The WHMCS module can only manage domains that you registered through the GoDaddy API Reseller platform.
