ResellerClub Unknown Fault Errors

Problem

You see the following error while using ResellerClub to register domains:

An unknown fault occurred - please contact support

Cause

The client’s profile data contains characters other than a-z and 0-9. The ResellerClub API won’t accept any accents or other non-Latin characters.

Solution

Update the client’s profile data to remove any other characters and try again.
