Problem #

While provisioning an account on a cPanel & WHM or WP Squared server, you see one of the following errors:

This module requires a cPanel & WHM server with a valid license and the 'Standard' server profile.
This module requires a WP Squared server with a valid license and the 'WP Squared' server profile.

Cause #

This error indicates that you are attempting to use a server that does not run the correct control panel or does not have a valid license.

Often, this occurs because you attempted to use the cPanel module with a server that runs WP Squared, or you attempted to use the WP Squared module with a server that runs cPanel & WHM.

Solution #

Make certain that your server has the correct license for its control panel and uses the correct server profile.

To do this, you can:

• Check your license in the cPanel Store.
  • If you are a cPanel Partner, you can also check your licenses in Manage2.

• Check your server profile in WHM at WHM » Server Configuration » Server Profile.
  
• Contact cPanel Customer Support.
