Problem #

You see the following error:

Required Product Module '' Missing

Cause #

This error message indicates that the system performed a module command for a product without an assigned module.

Typically, this is because you selected None for the product’s module at Configuration () > System Settings > Products/Services.

Solution #

To resolve this issue:

1. Go to the Module Settings tab for the product at Configuration () > System Settings > Products/Services.
2. Select a module for the product.
   We recommend using the Auto Release module for products that otherwise would not have a module. This module lets WHMCS open a support ticket or create a to-do list entry when a module command occurs and requires manual action.
