Update Channel Errors

Problem

This information only applies to self-hosted WHMCS installations. WHMCS Cloud updates WHMCS for you automatically.

While trying to update WHMCS at Utilities > Update WHMCS, you see the following error:

Make certain that you have selected a valid Update Channel and then try again

Cause

You have not correctly configured the Update Channel setting at Utilities > Update WHMCS.

Solution

Configure and save the Update Channel setting at Utilities > Update WHMCS, and then try again.
